Our tripto Bletchely Park, the secret home of the code breakers who cracked the enigma machine was quite a surprise. There were a lot of people there on a cold and rainy day in the middle of the week. This is where the machine, a precursor to our computers, worked day and night to crack the enigma code machine of the Nazi's. The place was so secret that none was allowed to tell anyone where they worked or what they did and there were tales of men and women who married after the war, and only then found out that they ere at Bletchley at the same time.
David especially enjoyed the visit since he had just finished reading a book about Alan Turing, one of the men most instrumental in developing the code breaking machine.
